Internal medicine: How we can diagnose and treat your pet
If your pet is suffering from clinical problems that are difficult to diagnose, our vets may use a range of techniques to reach a diagnosis, such as blood tests, radiographs, ultrasound or endoscopy, which are collectively known as internal medicine.
Symptoms we may choose to investigate include vomiting, diarrhoea, excessive drinking, malaise, weight loss or gain, anaemia and fever.
Once we understand your pet’s illness we can then discuss options and tailor a treatment plan to your pet’s individual needs.
