Hydrotherapy for pets in Kent

Hydrotherapy involves the therapeutic use of water in the treatment of a range of conditions, from injury rehab to weight loss, as well as being a great way of keeping your pet fit and having fun!

The warmth of the water can assist with pain relief and reduce muscle spasms, while the support provided by the water allows movement and exercise to take place with reduced pressure on joints – ideal for pets recovering from surgery or injury, as well as for general weight maintenance.

We find that hydrotherapy can produce fantastic results in dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as with some cats, although this may depend on your cat’s temperament.

Our hydrotherapy service at Sevenoaks

At our Sevenoaks branch we have an underwater treadmill, with which we have complete control over the temperature and height of water, as well as the speed, length and type of walk.

For your pet to make use of this service, they must first receive a referral from one of our vets – talk to one of our team to find out how to go about this. Clients with any of our branches can make use of the service.

How to book a hydrotherapy session for your pet

Initial sessions are normally one hour, to allow our hydrotherapy team to get to know you and your pets, with any follow up sessions lasting 30 minutes.

Feel free to bring any favourite treats or toys to help your pet to feel at home and we have pleasant washing and drying facilities for after the session.
