Pennard Vets
New Puppy Kitten Clinics
We know that a new arrival in the family is an exciting time, and are here to support you in order to ensure that you can focus on what’s important – having fun with your new addition!
It is a good idea to bring your new little friend into one of our practices as soon as possible, so that our team can make a fuss of them, give them lots of treats, and show them that a trip to the vets isn’t something to be scared of.
And if you have any questions about how to care for your perfect pet, please don’t hesitate to ask, before or after they’ve joined you in your home.
We offer our clients monthly appointments with our nursing team throughout the first year of your puppy or kitten’s life, to help ensure they’re developing healthily and happily.
Your nurse will guide you through vaccinations, parasite treatments, neutering, any behavioural issues that may arise and any other help you may need over the course of the year.
We have been having young pets coming in monthly for many years as part of our positive pets initiative, and we have seen how they associate us with treats, cuddles and fun!
Many of our patients remember this early experience for the rest of their life and still run in to greet us.

Help your dogs to learn how to socialise with our puppy parties
Our puppy parties are run in sessions by two of our registered nurses, once a week at our Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Allington practices.
It is crucial that your puppy meets as many other dogs and people in their first three months as possible, as well as experiencing lots of different situations. This is called their socialisation phase.
Our puppy parties offer the perfect opportunity for puppies to learn to socialise with other dogs in a controlled environment, while owners chat with our nurses on topics such as insurance, behaviour, grooming, dental care and food.
They are free to all our clients, but you need to book your place at your puppy’s first vaccination as places fill up fast.
We love seeing the puppies interact with each other and having fun. The puppies really enjoy coming to them and remember their friends for months and years to come.
