Police and the RSPCA are warning pet owners to be vigilant in Tonbridge after several cats in the Lambs Bank area died following ingestion of a toxic substance. There is no evidence to suggest that these cats were deliberately poisoned. As a precaution we would ask for everyone in the area to check where they store their pesticides and chemicals including antifreeze and make sure it is secure and out of the way of cats. People should also check their car radiators for leaks.
